Choose Wisely Part II

Not only should one take their time in choosing a surgeon but certain attributes are worth stating. The surgeon should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery which has the highest standards for certification that gives more assurance that the quality of the work and the patient’s health will be of utmost importance.

The process of aesthetic surgery is highly personal and intimate. The surgeon should be affable and approachable. The care should be managed closely by your surgeon and not assigned to legions of office personnel. One should not be impressed by the phalanx of attendants that separates the surgeon from the patient. This is not the place for a one sided conversation with The Wizard of Oz.

The entire experience will be based on how comfortable the surgeon makes the patient and how much confidence is instilled.
