“I Don’t See What You See”

Posted .

How many times have we all said to our friends and family that we wished we could change some part of our body we don’t like. Each and every time the usual response has been given with a quizzical look of disbelief or even amazement stating we look great and they don’t see the problem we point out.

Its not just out of politeness that people say we already look “great”. To the outside person the image they have of us is only partly made up of our physical appearance. Our real “appearance” is a  well-hewn conglomerate of our social presence; which by the way took many years to develop.

So the only person we need to please is ourselves when it comes to aesthetics. Doing that certainly gives us more confidence and that is what makes us look better.
